4x + 5y = 10 Question: A. Convert the equation to slope intercept form and justify each step. B. Explain how to graph the linear function. C. Graph the linear function.

Respuesta :

The answer to your question is A but i dont see a D option so it might be wrong

A.
slope intercept is y=mx+b
solve for y

4x+5y=10
minus 4x boths ides
5y=-4x+10
divide both sides by 5
y=-4/5x+2

B. graph it by
use slope and y intercept
y=mx+b
m=slope
b=y intercept
slope=rise/run

so
y=-4/5x+2
y intercept at y=2
graph point (0,2)
then slope
-4/5
go 4 units down and 5 to the right and put a point there
connect the points

or, you can subsitute points
when x=0, y=2
when x=5, y=-2
so graph (0,2) an (5,-2) and connect them

C. I can't graph right now, try desmos graphing calculator or use the steps above
