By definition, partisan is something prejudicial. Prejudicial dialogues happen way too often on the internet. People feel protected by the distance and apparent untraceable data, and they end up saying horrible things to each other, so dialogues become heated and harmful, and not informative whatsoever.
More often than not, people just want to cause an impression, instead of trying to inform or learn. It's really complicated to use social media to form an opinion.
