They didn't really have the right materials or tools, as sure it did work but given the environment it was harder to work and make art.
A Megalith is a giant stone structure (can be a single stone or multiple ones making a structure) dating back to the Neolithic and Chalcolithic Period. This word was first used in reference to the famous Stonehedge.
There is no concrete evidence on how these stone structures were built since these are from a time when writing blueprints did not exist.
People who were involved in the making of these structures had to work hard in the displacement of these massive rocks that weighs a thousand pounds. The stones were often 10-15 feet high as well.
Keeping a blueprint ready must have been tough.
Keeping track of time in the completion of the structure must have been a challenge as well since they probably did not have any deadlines.
Many were killed or hurt during the process of moving these rocks. They must have to ensure that fewer people get hurt as many got sacrificed, crushed, and squashed under the rocks.
Though they did have ladders, and sleds using pig lards to move the rocks. Making new tools to move these massive rocks must have been a challenge.
