Although there are a TON of advantages and good sides when it comes to Biomass - there are a few things that can just make you change your mind when it comes to using this form of energy. For starters - it can cause some pretty bad pollution. If you believe in the whole global warming thing - it's somethings enough to make you change your mind.
Another disadvantage is that it needs TONS of research and money - that we don't always have, so it'd be hard to conduct the proper tests!
And lastly is harvesting takes longer! You'll need more hands and it's quite a lot more work than some other energy sources.
I hope all is well, and you pass! good luck, rockstar! (: you deserve it!

It has been concidered more enviromentally damaging than any fossil-fuel and may well be the second largest contributer to global warming. This is because it is producing air polluiton in the form of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides and leaves behind a highly polluted substance in the air called Black Carbon.
This is probably the biggest disatvantage, because you want to do the right thing when going for biomass energy. I would go for solar energy instead ; )
Hope I gave you an awnser you where looking for
