Do you have options?
Are we solving for the value of 'm' ?
if not and if so, then try going with these steps! ⬇
~6-2/3(m)-5=?
✴ ? = 0
~ Simplify the fraction in the problem (2 / 3) which is equal to .6 , right ?
~ 6 - 2/3 (m) - 5 = ?
~ 6(3) / 3 (◀Solve that )
~ 6(3) = 18, right ?
✴Now lets expand the fraction a tad bit longer✴
~ 18 - 2(m) / 3 - 5 = ?
~ 5(3) / 3 (◀ This becomes your fraction now but not of the problem )
~These would be your like terms ▶ 2(m) - 9
~ 3 - 2(m) / 3 = ?
✴Remember what I said '?' is equal to '0'
✴We have to SUBTRACT the number ' 3' to your sides in this equation. By the way, the positive '2' becomes a negative '2'
~ -2(m)+3 = ?
-2(m) = -3
Second we would have to MULTIPLY the sides by a -1
So, 2(m) = 3
Lastly, lets DIVIDE each of your sides with the number '2' (this time '2' is a positive again!)
So, apparently the value of 'm' would most likely going to be 3/2
(if that's one of your options , if I'm not mistaken⬆ )
