The radius of a cylinder is 3.5 feet the height is 14 feet find the surface area and volume of the cylinder to the nearest 10th of a foot. PLEASE HELP

Respuesta :

The surface area of the cylinder is calculated through the equation,
                                     SA = 2πr² + 2πrh
Substituting,
                                      SA = 2π(3.5 ft)² + 2π(3.5 ft)(14 ft)
                                      SA = 384.85 ft²

Volume is calculated through the equation,
                                           V = πr²h
                                           V = π(3.5 ft)²(14 ft)
                                            V   = 538.78 ft²
