Do you think the trench provided adequate protection in warfare? Why or why not? Write your answer in a paragraph on a separate sheet of paper.

yes because they could plan stuff in a trench

I believe trenches did provide adequate protection. Because they were long, deep, and some had turns.  One reason the provided good protection was because if they were getting shot at all they had to do is duck. Another reason is because is they throw a grenade they would run from it and fall to the ground protecting them from the shrapnel.
