The type of plague is responsible for the patient's symptoms is known as the Bubonic plague.
This type of plague are passed to animals as a result of their contact with
infected fleas which has the causative bacteria are usually found on rodents such as rats, mouse, etc.
Symptoms commonly associated with the plague include fever, chills and
weakness, very swollen tender lymph nodes of bubo, and skin ulcerations etc.
