Authority in a bureaucracy is structured in "hierarchical" way.

A bureaucracy is an arrangement of association noted for its size and multifaceted nature. Everything inside an organization — duties, occupations, and assignments — exists to accomplish some objective. Bureaucracies are found at the administrative, state, area, and civil dimensions of government, and even huge private partnerships might be bureaucratically sorted out.

The structure of a bureaucracy is known as a hierarchy, a progression of levels from the most humble specialist in the association to the most elevated official. Each level has plainly characterized expert and obligations.
