Off the top of my head, Latin America has a lot of points of varying altitude that can be dangerous. But most of all: WATER. Latin America is surrounded by bodies of waters because of the oceans, and it has less surface area per country when compared to a land-locked area, so there is much higher risk of a tsumani or hurricanes and stormy weather like El Niño storms!
