How do you graph y=-3x+2 and -3x-y=-2 (change into slope intercept form first) then check your answer. The picture is how the formula should be when u check ur work.

Respuesta :

Y=-3x+2:
Already in slope intercept form
Graph by plotting a point on (0,2)
Then move 3 points up and 1 to the right and plot the point and keep doing that a couple times

-3x-y=-2:
Add -3x on both sides
The result would be
-y=3x-2
Divide everything by negative 1
Y=-3x+2

Both equations are the same so they are the same line
those are the same graph. just written in different ways the first one u listed is in slope intercept already. the second one, just rearrange using proper algebra and they become the same. the slope is -3 and the y intercept is at (0,-2). this means starting at (0,-2) thenext point willbe 1 over to he right, 3 down. before (0,-2), though, will be 1 over o the left and 3 up
