2 × m + 3 × m² - 4 × m

Put parenthesis around parts of the equation, to make it easier to look at.

(2 × m) + (3 × m²) + (-4 × m)

Simplify.

2m + 3m² + (-4m)

Add like terms.

3m² + -2m
