By far the most influential artist here was Andy Warhol (1928–1987)
although Jasper Johns and Robert Rauschenberg also dominated the scene.
Like the others, Warhol was known for painting ordinary objects from
popular culture. For example, three of his more famous works are 100 Dollar Bills, 100 Soup Cans, and 100 Coke Bottles. So the answer would be Andy Warhol. :)
