enlargement is adding to. reduction is taking away from.

Enlargement is making it bigger(more),while reduction is making it smaller (less).

Example of Reduction:
You normally spend 8 hours on you phone, but your mom is REDUCING you to 4.

Example of Enlargement:
Your house is only 44x20, but you ENLARGE it to 88x30.
