The Qing dynasty was the last of China’s royal dynasties. The Qing ruled from 1644 until the abdication of their last emperor, the infant Puyi, in February 1912. They come to power because of their success in persuading Chinese over to their side. They used similar policies to obtain the trust of the Chinese literati; Qing emperors learned Chinese, Confucian rhetoric and financed scholarly projects. And, in the 18th century let Chinese enter the government. As we can see, the Manchu of the Qing dinasty controlled China's people because they retained traditional Chinese institutions, letter D.
