Which of the following characteristics are MOST likely to be true of agribusiness? The percentage of the workforce involved in agricultural activities is higher than the percentage of the workforce involved in other economic industries. Farmers rely on high levels of mechanization, such as harvesters and plows, to care for their crops. The average farm size is small in relation to the high amounts of agricultural products grown on the land. Farmers do not often produce agricultural surpluses, and their yields mainly benefit the local populations.

Im going to say that, "Farmers rely on high levels of mechanization such as harvesters and plows, to care for their crops." Considering that gathering the crops through workers would be both difficult, time consuming, and costly to everyone involved; using technology would be a much more viable solution. And when technology is introduced the numbers of workers involved is much lower, thats why when industry was introduced to America, high levels of traditional textile and agricultural workers were left unemployed.

Im also going to say that farmers avoid agricultural surpluses as well because then the left over crops would weigh heavy on the farmers wallet.

And I also would say that it is true that the farm size would be small in relation to the products grown. A good farmer would utilize every inch of his farm because they do have to pay taxes on the amount of land they have. Not that acres upon acres is small but because every square inch is important.

But thats just how I would think about it so who really knows.
