In this excerpt from Act III, Scene II, of "The tragedy of Julius Caesar", by William Shakespeare, Mark Antony's use of paralipsis is effective in manipulating the audience as option d) Mark Antony uses paralipsis to draw attention to the will as he seems to ignore or avoid it. When speaking to his Roman fellow citizens after Caesar's assassination, Mark Antony says the opposite of what he intends. Paralipsis is emphasizing something by seeming to pass over it.
