The function with the greatest change is B.) Function 2
Using the [tex] \frac{rise}{run} [/tex] trick to find the slope, we can tell which function has the greatest change.
The slope of Function 1 = [tex] \frac{2}{-1}= -2 [/tex]
The slope of Function 2 = [tex] \frac{4}{1} = 4 [/tex]
So, since Function 2 has the greatest slope, or highest incline in its linear function, it has the greatest rate of change.
I hope this helped!! Have a blessed day :D
