people who can answer promptly toward the discussion is on topic with the group. When you ask questions you can push your knowledge to a higher level of the understanding from all points and views. And when you what to voice your opinion, it's not saying the frequency/ pitch of how you say, but say it as if you know what you are talking about, clearly and with diction. It is also best to remain quiet while others are speaking not only for respect but when you listen you are more than capable of hearing details behind the meaning of what they said that could be crucial in the near future. However, when ignoring somebody, there has to be a good enough reason. For instance, a rude comment or they are just out flat off topic in the discussion.
