A student is given a sample of small mass of baking soda and a sample of vinegar. The student is asked to predict what will happen when the two substances are added together, as well as whether a physical or chemical process has occur. What prediction should the student make, and how could she provide evidence to justify her answer?

Respuesta :

A student is given a sample of small mass of baking soda and a sample of vinegar. the carbon dioxide gas id formed. This is a chemical change.

The baking soda and the vinegar will react and form the gas, the gas formed is the carbon dioxide. The formation of the carbon dioxide will leads to the formation of the new bond. the reaction is the exothermic reaction . in exothermic reactions the heat is released during the chemical reaction. it needs the energy to break the baking soda and the vinegar and the energy is released when then carbon dioxide if formed.

This result in a chemical change . in the chemical change the formation of the new substances rakes place.
