So we know that within 4x + 19 = 27 the 19 is the same as the 27 (aka no variable attached.)
In order to remove the 19 to isolate the x, we need to subtract it.
4x + 19 = 27
- 19 - 19
4x = 8
In order to remove the 4 from the x, we need to divide both sides by four to remove it.
4x = 8
/4 /4
x = 2
Since four goes into eight two times, then x equals two.
