The Fall of Bataan was a memorable time in Philippine history. Filipino and America Soldiers valiantly fought for the Philippines' defense and security. With few supplies, they were still able to fight the Japanese Imperial Army for 3 months. The long battle helped make the delays for the Japanese to completely get the whole Pacific area.
Lieutenant General Masaharu Homma held 140, 000 Filipino and Amercian soldiers as captives .
