Respuesta :

Alfred Wegener became a German meteorologist, geophysicist and polar researcher. In 1915 he published 'The origin of Continents and Oceans', which outlined his theory of Continental drift.

Inside the early 20th century, Wegener published a paper explaining his concept that the continental landmasses have been “drifting” throughout the Earth, once in a while plowing thru oceans and into every other. He known as this movement continental waft.

Scientists confirmed a number of Wegener's thoughts decades later, which are now part of the broadly accepted theory of plate tectonics (opens in new tab). Wegener's continental go with the flow principle delivered the concept of shifting continents to geoscience.
