the philadelphia convention of 1787 was where the founding fathers created the unites states constitution, establishing a new central foundation for this newly independent nation.

Respuesta :

From May 25 to September 17, 1787, the Philadelphia Convention, also known as the Constitutional Convention, the Federal Convention, or the "Grand Convention at Philadelphia," was held to address issues with American government.

Despite the Convention's stated goal of just revising the Articles of Confederation, many of its proponents, most notably James Madison and Alexander Hamilton, had a new government in mind from the beginning rather than attempting to fix the issues with the old one. George Washington was chosen by the delegates to lead the convention. The United States Constitution was the convention's output. The Convention is one of the most important moments in American history, and the advantages of freedom and liberty are still evident today.
