By adding  phenylalanine to tRNAs with lysine-specific anticodons, the cell will fix the flaw. The body is unable to produce essential amino acids. They must therefore originate from food. Histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine are the nine essential amino acids. Being an essential amino acid, phenylalanine cannot be produced by the body and must be consumed through diet. Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid that can be created in the liver by hydroxylating phenylalanine when consumed.
