History help on research paper please help! What were the benefits and drawbacks of having a railroad run through your city in the 1800s?

benefits you could open up lots of little stores or shops that are along the railroad. Drawbacks is that more people showed up and expand may things and you had to build may more homes and expand many buildings and a growing need for food.
