The yellow perch has one atrium and one ventricle in heart chamber, hence they have two chambered heart.
Yellow perch is a kind of fish which belongs to Phylum Pisces. It does not have well developed heart and their is only one cycle of cardiovascular circulation in them. The blood is pumped to the gills, and from gills, it is passed on to entire body and then returns back to heart. Fishes are cold-blooded organisms because they cannot maintain their body temperature by thermal regulation. Since there is unidirectional flow of blood, temperature cannot be maintained. Fishes have air bladder which helps in regulating buoyancy, tail for changing the directions, gills for respiration and cycloid scales which covers their skin.
