If the two different compounds with the same melting point range are combine them the mixed melting point range will be different.
The melting point of any substance is the temperature at the substance changes its state from the solid state to the liquid state. when we mix two different compounds with the same melting point then the combined melting point will be results in the depressed ,melting point. the mixture have the depressed melting point even they have the same melting point when each compound in in pure form.
