Consider the carbon cycle and the role of primary producers, primary and secondary consumers and decomposers. Which of these organisms directly use energy (like sunlight) to make macromolecules from carbon dioxide? just the consumers and decomposers just the producers just the producers and consumers the producers, consumers and decomposers just the consumers

Respuesta :

Consider the carbon cycle and the role of primary producers, primary and secondary consumers and decomposers, the organism which directly use energy (like sunlight) to make macromolecules from carbon dioxide is just the producers.

What is the carbon cycle?

The carbon cycle is nature's way of reconditioning carbon atoms, that travel from the atmosphere into organisms in the Earth and then back into the atmosphere over and over again. Most carbon is gathered in rocks and sediments, when the rest is saved in the ocean, atmosphere, and living organisms.

Here are the role of primary producers, secondary consumers, and decomposers in the carbon cycle:

  • Primary producers produce energy from sunlight and carbon in the environment. Then, pass carbon onto secondary consumers.
  • Secondary Consumers release Carbon Dioxide into the air through respiration.
  • Decomposers release stored Carbon Dioxide into the air by decomposing dead organisms.
