The Progressive era occurred in America in the 19th century, causing the country's industrialization and technological advances to increase. The Progressive Era is the name given to this era.
This led to a problem for farmers in rural areas who were forced to deal with higher competition and lower pricing as a result of industrial strengthening. Then followed the social problems brought on by the progressive era, including widespread poverty, poor sanitation for the populace as a whole, and a substantial influx of immigrants from the nation's cities. Social movements that later became the reform movement arose from the need to address the time's social problems. As a result, the Progressive Reformers gained strength and continued to fight for the realization of fundamental rights, civil rights, mental health, women's suffrage, and other issues that were affecting American society as a whole, such as poverty and poor sanitation. Labor rights, women's suffrage, economic reform, environmental protections, and the care of the poor, especially impoverished immigrants, were just a few of the overlapping concerns that the Progressive Era's leaders worked on.
