Postage stamps are pre-paid charges and are no longer regarded to be cash
A small adhesive piece of paper of exact value issued via a postal authority to be affixed to a letter or a parcel to point out the quantity of postage paid. Postage stamps are the most many times used stamps and have a fixed amount of postage referred to on them.
Use them up by means of 31 January 2023, or swap them out. We're adding barcodes to our everyday stamps. After 31 January 2023, everyday stamps besides a barcode* will no longer be valid.
Indian Postal System used to be developed under the governor-generalship of Lord Dalhousie. He served as the Governor General of India from 1848 to 1856. The postal stamps had been used in 1854 for the first time.
