To treat the 2nd degree burn scar we should apply thin layer of anitbiotic and cover scar with sterile and protect the area.

The second degree of burn is when you affects both the epidermis and the second layer of skin (dermis). It may cause swelling and red, white or splotchy skin. Blisters may develop, and pain can be severe. Deep second-degree burns can cause scarring

To treat the Second degree of burn  scar you should do following:

  • Apply a thin layer of antibiotic ointment to your burn to help it heal.
  • Cover your burn with sterile, nonstick gauze to protect the area, prevent infection, and help the skin recover.
  • Wear tight, supportive clothing called compression garments over your burn to help your skin heal. You may have to wear compression garments all day, every day for several months.
