A patient with the gross hematuria is giving the urine sample which is cola colored, pinkish or red colored. The urine sample is because of the presence of RBC in the urine.

There are 4 types of hematuria which are as following :
1. Gross hematuria.
2. Microscopic hematuria with clinical symptoms.
3. Asymptomatic microscopic hematuria with proteinuria.
4. Asymptomatic microscopic hematuria.
The gross hematuria makes the urine look pinkish in color that too without any kind of microscope use as this is because of the presence of RBC in blood that is enough to make the urine look pink in color.
