Respuesta :

Quaternary level consumer has access to the smallest supply of energy.

What is Quaternary Level?

Quaternary care has been described as an extension of tertiary care in reference to highly specialized, hard-to-access advanced levels of medicine that are typically only provided in a relatively small number of national or international centers. In an ecosystem, the movement of materials and energy is represented by the food chain. Producers (such as green plants and algae) come first, then several tiers of consumers ( such as primary consumer, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary consumers). The quaternary level of consumers is the last trophic level (position of organism in food chain), and as such, they receive the least amount of energy.
