The inputs are: CO2, H2O , Light.
The outputs are: Glucose, O2.
Photosynthesis consists of using carbon dioxide, water and solar energy to synthesize organic substances (carbohydrates) and oxygen. This phenomenon occurs in choloroplasts, a plant-specific organelle, at the level of the thylakoid membranes where photosystems I and II and cytochromes are located.
It takes six molecules of carbon dioxide and six molecules of water to synthesize a molecule of glucose, releasing six molecules of oxygen, thanks to the light energy.
6 CO2 + 6 H2O + light energy → C6H12O6 (glucose) + 6 O2
