For this case we can use the following definition:

$\cot N=\frac{\cos N}{\sin N}$

And from the figure given we have:

$\cos N=\frac{12}{37},\sin N=\frac{35}{37}$

And replacing we got:

$\cot N=\frac{12}{35}$
