Different types of RNA and their function:
mRNA (messenger RNA) - carries the message of the DNA; single-stranded
siRNA (small interfering RNA) - reduces the translation of mRNA; double-stranded
rRNA (ribosomal RNA) - needed for ribosomes
tRNA (transfer RNA)- clip-looking molecule that brings amino acids to ribosomes
ANSWER: mRNA. = The transcripted RNA is spliced and poly-A tail and a cap is added for protection when it gets transferred to the cytoplasm.
