This is new stuff for me I don’t know how to solve this word problem and my teacher was absent today so I didn’t have any clarification

we have that
The formula to calculate the circumference of a circle is equal to
[tex]C=2\pi r[/tex]Solve for r
That means
Isolate the variable r
so
Divide on both sides of the formula by 2pi
[tex]\frac{C}{2\pi}=\frac{2\pi r}{2\pi}[/tex]Simplify
[tex]r=\frac{C}{2\pi}[/tex]For
C=75.3 m
and
pi=3.14
substitute in the new formula
[tex]\begin{gathered} r=\frac{75.3}{2(3.14)} \\ r=12.0\text{ m} \end{gathered}[/tex]
