Because of these gene characteristics, they require less pesticides. They have the ability to kill many pests and insects thereby aiding to conserve then from damage. They can be produce using fewer land, water, and pesticides making them cheaper. These savings in their production let the farmers able to provide cheaper price for their crops. They also contain extra vitamins and minerals.
