Larry found a house for $120,500. He pays a 20% down payment. How much does Larry pay for the down payment?

we have that

$120,500 ------> represents 100%

20%=20/100=0.20

Multiply $120,500 by 0.20

120,500*0.20=$24,100

the answer is $24,100
