Given:

The required line is perpendicular to y=3.

Passing point =(- 4, 4)

Any line perpendicular to y = A is given by:

[tex]x=B[/tex]

Where B is the passing coordinate of line.

Now the required line passes through (-4,4) and perpendicular to y=3 is given by:

[tex]x=-4[/tex]

The required equation of line is x= - 4
