Let us solve for the area of the figure,

$\begin{gathered} \text{Area of the trapezium=}\frac{\text{1}}{2}(7+10)\times4 \\ =\frac{1}{2}(17)\times4 \\ =34cm^2 \end{gathered}$

The area of the trapezium is 34cm².
