Solving for n:

Subtract 1/4n from both sides:

3/4n - 18 - 1/4n = 1/4n - 4 - 1/4n

1/2n - 18 = -4

Add 18 to both sides:

1/2n - 18 + 18 = -4 + 18

1/2n = 14

Multiply both sides by 2:

2*(1/2n) = 2*(14)

n = 28
