$A=\frac{(B+b)h}{2}$

where A is the area, B and b are bases of the trapezoid and h the height

we can replace values like area, and bases

$51=\frac{(10+7)h}{2}$

simplify

$51=\frac{17h}{2}$

multiply on both sides to remove denominator 2

$\begin{gathered} 51\times2=\frac{17h}{2}\times2 \\ \\ 102=17h \\ 17h=102 \end{gathered}$

and divide between 17 to find h

$\begin{gathered} h=\frac{102}{17} \\ \\ h=6 \end{gathered}$
