$1.25 x 5= 6.25
18.00-6.25=11.75 ,fruit.
11.75 divided by should give you the answer 
=2.35 coast of each bag of fruit

1.  Figure out how much each of the 5 friends spent; assume it's 1/5 of the total, or $18/5, or $3.60 each.  
2.  Subtract the cost of 1 package of juice from this $3.60.  Your result is the cost of a package of dried fruit.
