We are asked to determine the slope between two points. To do that we will use the following formula:

[tex]m=\frac{6-2}{9-(-7)}[/tex]Solving the operations:
[tex]m=\frac{4}{16}=\frac{1}{4}[/tex]Therefore, the slope is 1/4
