The definition of the segment addition postulate states that if we have a line segment AC and a point B within it, the sum of the lengths of the segments AB and BC will give the total length of AC

Now from the Segment Addition postuate above,

Since point E lies between A and B, then

[tex]\begin{gathered} AE+EB=AB,\text{ that is } \\ 6+4=10 \\ AB=10 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Hence AB = 10 due to the Segment Addition Postulate.

Hence the answer is Segment Addition Postulate.
