If 4 pounds of cantaloupe cost $11.25

then, 1 pound of cantaloupe will cost

[tex]\frac{11.25}{4}=\text{ \$2}.8125[/tex]

if 1 pound of cantaloupe costs $2.8125

then, 2 pounds of cantaloupe will cost $2.8125 x 2

[tex]=\text{ \$5.625}[/tex]

The answer is $5.625
