Then the equation formed is

Another equation formed is

Solve both the equations for x and y by elimination method where multiply the equation 1 by 5 and subtract from 2.

$(5x+7y)-(5x+5y)=(1140)-(192\times5)$$2y=1140-960$$2y=180\Rightarrow y=90$

Then the value of x is

$x+90=192\Rightarrow x=102$

Hence the pots they bought is 102 dollar and buckets they bought is 90 dollars.
