Okay, so if we're solving for "a" we should start out by dividing 5/2 by 5/4. I know it looks confusing but if we just use the keep change flip method when dividing fractions it will be easy!
Alright so keep the first fraction 5/2
Change the sign from division to multiplication
Flip the other fraction 4/5
SO 5/2 times 4/5
Just multiply the top numbers and bottoms numbers to get
20/10 WHICH can be simplified to 2 (because two 10s fit in a 20)
So, through all of that we figure out the right sides, 2. So we can rewrite it like this
2÷a= 2
Then we can multiply a to both sides to get
2=2a
And then just divide by 2 from both sides to get 1= a
I hope that helps and feel free to let me know if you have any questions!

I can deduce from here that you are trying to find "a", and "/" stands for divide
2/a = (5/2) / (5/4)
2/a = (5/2) x (4/5) this is called the inverse multiplication where the division sign changes to a multiplication sign and the fraction is turned upside down.
2/a = (20/10)
2/a = (2)
since you are trying to solve for "a", you can either cross multiply then you have
2 = 2a, then divide both sides by 2 and your answer becomes a = 1 or you multiply both sides by "a" then you have (2 = 2a), divide both sides by a and your answer becomes a = 1
I hope this really helps you
